dear ob1
i have done some research on your problem it seems to me that the new cams you installed in your motor are not much different(if not smaller) than the stock se-255 so how do you think that those cams will give you more hp than what you had those cams if i read right which i did work best with  96 and 103 ci engines with 10 to 1 compression so where does your 110 fall into that category i know it has more compression than that so who did the research for this you or who the rings on the pistons float and they will line up every once and a while the top two more commonly than most but if it was that bad was the inside of the jugs scored with vertical straight lines if you want to add hp put in a bigger cam not an equal or smaller one and put in a high compression piston go big not half ass dont blame the dealer for you going smaller and wanting more

Jackass1, you can go to bigboyzheadporting.com or fullsac.com to check out 110 stage 2 builds and compare for yourself. There are numerous members of this sight who have done this same build and have had pleasant results doing it. I have a touring bike and like the longer peak torque that the 54 delivers along with lower cranking pressure and rideability.Thank you for weighing in, you make good points but when all is said and done 90 p.s.i front cylinder and 100 p.s.i rear with 20 and 18 % leakdown from new heads with 1800 miles spells for problems. The inspector also determined that the pistons were bad today during his inspection and yet they were "fine" 1800 miles ago when the motor was opened up.

After a trip and hour discussion with the original dealer today, i was promised that they would take care of all work at no cost and was given an 06 ultra classic to get me by until the work is done.

They assume full responsibility for the problems and are going to correct them.

The owner realizes that a 110 with rinehart 2-1 and stage 1 air setup along with the cams makes 95-100 hp and 110-115 torque with a good tune and owns up to the fact that the bike should never have been released to me after dyno with only 83 hp and 94 torque. That the tech should have seen those as stock or below numbers and investigated then.

Thanks for weighing in, you bring up good points and maybe i should invest in 10.5 pistons while they are changing them out.

any thoughts are appreciated.
