I like my V & H Monster Ovals...not too loud, but can be heard when I twist it a bit harder. I'm thinkin' they will sound even better with a Fullsac duel header pipe .

I just installed Rineharts' 4" slip ons and have about three hundred miles at all different speeds and rpm's.
Love the sound and the popping off idle is gone, no MAP adjustments.

Just installed CFR's on my '12 ultra.  With the 110, YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE RACE TUNER AND DYNO.  That's okay though because I picked up approx. 5% more torque and HP.  The sound is head turning.   Worth the 3 month back order wait!!!

I'm suprised that no one has mentioned the S & S SPO mufflers.  Did a search, on the site, and quite a few folks have commented on the unique sound and looks of these.  They are spendy. But these people don't make any junk.  Any voices of experience out there?

Laters.....

Sound is preferance. What one likes someone else may bot. I had the SPOs on my last bike. They sounded good. The weird shape made me drag them on corners. I sold them in a week. I am now running the D&D Police interceptor Slip Ons. Reasonable noise level (paradoxical statement no doubt) and they look good to me.

I have XXXX mufflers and I hate them, they perform like chit and they sound like a trumpet.   Everyone is going to like and promote what they and thats how opinions are formed.  I have Kerker Stouts and I love them after having Rineharts, Rush, stocks with Fulsact cores, Samsons, and V&H ovals....but thats me?   Took me a long time to get what I want, wished I had kept followed some good advice I got from a friend.  BE PATIENT, go to a HD store on a Saturday or Sunday, or find a bike night, or pull up next to a bike that sounds good and ask them what they have?  Best muffler is subjective.....best sounding or best performance?  Good Luck!

V&H 4" Monster Rounds.    Clean, basic, moderately priced, solid increase in performance.  Took about 15 minutes to install start to finish.

Next step for me in the coming month is to call Fullsac and go Stage 1.  In Cali, so will be keeping the OEM equip for the emissions test in a few years!

The SuperTrapp FatShots with the Fullsac X-pipe and TTS Mastertune works well for me. I initially had the Fullsac 2" cores but wanted something slightly more quiet without losing the sound I wanted. The FatShots performed very well with the Fullsac map and there was no need to re-tune. The slotted wheel Trapp Caps were added to complete the setup.
