New oil cooler installed
« on: September 30, 2010, 10:45:45 PM »

Lets get one thing straight the bike is dirty it has been in the shop for 3 months and it is not raining in Oregon so I am riding. I'm not washing it until I'm done riding. So all you cleanaholics might not want to look.

So OK I got this new oil cooler from Enigma Concepts Inc. I know there are several out there but this is the one I decided to try. It is very well put together. The install directions were good...even I could do it.  :huepfenlol2:

Both units together are keeping the oil temps down.  :2vrolijk_21: The people at Enigma Concepts Inc. are very friendly and helpful. I have invited them to be a vendor on the site hopefully we'll hear from them soon.

Dang Marty. dOOd jumped right on this. Mrs R suggested my comment on the dirty bike as she said they are gonna get you if you don't. Well it is more fun to ride than to clean.  :bananarock: I got your back Marty.

Rooster,

I had a chance to chat with the guys from Enigma Concepts and liked what they had to say. I have pretty much decided to go with this cooler as it has the all chrome / billet look I wanted and the parade fan hidden behind the horn makes it a nice low profile package.

I see the parade fan does push out the horn a bit but it's hard to tell how much from the pictures. Is the fan assembly noticeable and so you think the bracket would be less noticeable if it was chromed? I was thinking chroming the one for the oil cooler as well so it blends in better as well.

Thanks,

MikeV
