Yes, That's Pikes Peak in the background. Nikki (of the Bret & Nikki team) took this pic while riding next to us.

Beautiful pic!  My Autmn Haze is due in next month.  I noticed your shorter antennas, and was wondering how the CB and radio reception is?

Oh man, I'll bet you're chomping at the bit! All here fully understand.  ;)

I don't use my CB or even the bike intercom. I like to keep momma close so she can whisper in my ear, etc, etc... :-*
The radio reception is the same as with the tall whips that come with the bike. The antennas are Autozone $5 specials so the one that is mounted to the CB connection is purely decorative. They do the job and look pretty good (IMHO). I may, at some point, get something different.
Be sure to post pics when you get your new bike. Try shooting it with a local landmark in the background.

Just wanted to give Nikki some credit where credit is due. She takes more pictures than anyone I know. She has a sony cybershot. It's about the most compact camera out there and is a 7.2 megapixel. It's so small that she has it with her virtually all the time and she USES IT! We have pictures of just about everything we've ever done. Well not everything ... as far as you know! She really likes taking shots from the bike of other riders while moving. I love those.

Bret be sure to pass along to Nikki our gratitude and appreciation for the flicks.  Why don't you post some more in the Cripple Creek thread of some of the area that we'll be riding in, taken around that same time of the year.........to entice those who have never been to your beautiful state before?
