I bought in May 2010 a Street Glide CVO ......
I wanted an Ultra Classic Electra, but HD did not honor my order.
I have the opportunity to share my Street in 2010 with an Electra CVO 2009 .....
I think it's a good deal.
What do you think about?

If it were me, I'd keep the Street Glide and buy a color matched tour pak and lowers and call it a day.  The 10 SG Capn Morgan you have is a sweet machine.  I know, I have the same ride.

I agree, if you are happy with the bike other than the lowers and tour pack, keep it and buy the parts.

Tourpak + lowers + passing lamps + heated handgrips.

Hi Robin,

if your FLHXSE runs ok and gives you no trouble keep it and buy those additional parts.

Many FLHTCUSE owner spend a lot of money to make theit bikes "convertible" to Streetglide-looks.

And you never know what bugs you may buy with a 09, they are not all flawless

Captain Morgan is my favorite so i would advise the same as others.Get all the extras detachable then you can switch between the looks.

By far more money spent going from classic to glide than glide to classic........consider yourself lucky. Tour Pak and you're done, lowers are a waste unless you ride in Siberia.

Thank you for your answers and advice, finally I sold " captain Morgan ".....
In fact the Electra Ultra corresponds more to what I wished!!!!!

it's normal with those mufflers - the OEM chrome shields should be reinstalled, they cover it up.
