Don't they know that hate is a sin? Don't they know that intentionally causing another human being discomfort and humiliation is a sin? Who the eff do these aholes think they are? Picketing a military funeral should not be a First Amendment right...

When does common sense and decency come into play?  I support their right to free speech but not at others expense.  Don't these jerks realize that this soldier was someone's son?  If you've done any travel lately you'd notice that our troops are kids trying to do what's right to defend aholes like these.  A little gratitude perhaps?

First Amendment rights aside, many if not most cemeteries are private property.  Wonder why legislatures do not pass laws allowing property owners to evict anyone causing any kind of disruption with no threat of a retaliatory lawsuit?   Movie theaters do it if someone is simply being noisy.

Guarantee if it was my property they would be gone with a sheriff's escort.  They have no right to trespass, and I get to decide who is trespassing.  Can't do it if they are across the street, though.

There was an article in today's newpaper about this group and how they are so very careful to obey the local ordinances.  They call ahead to learn where they are permitted to picket, etc., and actually maintained the proper distance at the funeral in question and stopped their protest before the funeral started so they could not be accused of 'disrupting' the funeral.  Many of the pastor's (and I use that term loosely) children are attorneys and know all the ins and outs so as to abide by the letter of the law but certainly not the spirit of the law or common decency.  What a damn shame that these folks can get away with this.  Perhaps the court can find that this constitutes harassment or something like that to stop this disgrace.

I had read that they were pretty quick to sue if someone gave them the slightest reason.  I guess that is a fund raiser for them.   Didn't know they were so anal (pun intended) about precisely following the law.

Some "christians" they are.  Guess they forgot the part about "Judge not."

I don't usually wish anything bad on someone but I am often glad to see it if it happens.  I'll make an exception here and wish all manner of bad to them.  May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits.
