Rio Red and Black Ember, You have to see it to believe it
« on: October 05, 2010, 10:48:17 PM »

So I have been thinking about a 2011 FLTRUSE, in Rio Red, but I am underwhelmed by the graphics. No nasty replies please ( just my opinion ). Of all the CVOs produced the graphics on the Road Glide Ultra are the least custom looking, least exciting I have ever seen. Here is what changed my mind, saw one in a dealer today and  the colors are absolutely gorgeous. The Rio Red just pops, and the Black Ember has serious red metal flake in it. Now, I have to have one. Perhaps the nicest colors of any Harley ever, ( again just my opinion).

What's great is that the actual ride is even better than the color combo. If you are stepping up from an '07 into a '11 you'll be amazed. I was!

Cut it out guys!  I have myself convinced that the cherry Jester is still the best bike!  (Fingers in ears "lalalalalalalala")

Hey, I picked my 2011 CVO Ultra Electra Glide up on Fri. Oct. 24 just before sunset at Cowboy Harley in Austin, Tx. The low sun really made the flames pop.
I had a heat issue with extreme heat coming from the catalytic converter that was resolved with Vance & Hines double cross over headers and an enriched fuel mixture. With the sports tuner, it puts out 104.67 foot pounds of torque. I love every aspect of my new baby. :apple:

I bet the folks reading "2006 FLHTCUSE/2007 FLHTCUSE2/2008 FLHTCUSE3/2009 FLHTCUSE4/2010 FLHTCUSE5/2011 FLHTCUSE6 Screamin’ Eagle® Ultra Classic® Electra Glide®" would love to hear about it too.

The colors are drop dead gorgeous, but no bird. :o  Maybe a mid year adjustment is in order.  Doc

I felt the same way about the charcoal/black.  Unimpressed with the pictures of it.  So I reserved a Rio Red/Black Ember, but had first right of refusal on the charcoal/black SEURG when it came in.  Didn't have to think twice when I saw the charcoal/black in person.  It was love at first sight and I had to have it.  Told them to take my name off the list for the rio red and wrap up the charcoal.  And after riding it, that even solidified my decision more.  Jester, the 07
SEUC is nothing compare to the new SEURG.

You are...and the lumbar is adjustable up and down too by a knob located inside the lid.   :2vrolijk_21:
