Which heads for me?
« on: October 08, 2010, 07:13:52 PM »

I'm looking to buy a set of used heads for my 09 Springer, can anyone please tell me if any of the 110 (granite) heads will fit? Or should I be looking for a particular set.?   I have seen a set for sale with the following HD part No of 94675 - CVO Granite Head Program. Is this part suitable?

In case you are wondering why? i'm looking for these heads so I may have them built for a new cam, and then shipped to me here in Oz land. ;)

The 94675 you mentioned is a kit number for the "Enhancement" program for the '07 and early '08 CVO engines in the Electraglides.  If you don't mind two unused tapped holes for the Touring models front head to frame stabilizer link, they should work.  Of course, if you're going to have the heads fully worked with new valves, springs, seals, and porting, and supply your own gaskets, you might find a better price just buying the bare heads instead of the complete assemblies and other parts in that kit.  The part numbers for the bare heads (includes guides and valve seats only) for your bike are 17328-08A front and 17331-08A rear.
