Sylvania, Ohio — Phil Comar of Adrian left Mackinaw City at the Mackinac Bridge at 7:55 a.m. Sunday and crossed into Ohio on U.S. 23 at 12:08 p.m., completing his no-hands motorcycle ride. After crossing the state line, Comar stopped at a gas station in Sylvania, Ohio, to celebrate with friends. Comar had a modified gas tank so he wouldn’t have to stop and a couple spotters who rode with him. He made the ride to raise money for Parkinson’s disease research. He will submit the ride to the Guiness Book of World Records.

Great ride for a good cause!

So, was the record based on time of 4 hours 13 minutes? Type of road; no stop signs, speed limit, nobody goin to slow him down? How many miles?

Guinness wouldn't recognize this other guy because he set the record (311.8 miles on his 1999 BMW K1200LT from Denver to North Platte, Nebraska) on a public road which Guinness didn't deem as appropriate due to safety concerns! Sellars was told by Guinness that because he did not attempt his record in the controlled environment of an oval track, where there is no chance of harm to the public, they would not accept his attempt.

Not all Guinness records are world records I guess!

What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men
