V & H Power Duals Headpipe
« on: October 12, 2010, 10:03:42 AM »

My dealer has a 11 SE Road Glide which he has fitted with V & H Power Duals Headpipe and R C Engineering 4" slip-ons.  Sounds good - but a little loud for my taste.

What I did notice is that the O2 sensor on the rear headpipe is considerable higher and nearer the head than the stock location.  I thought I read that the new heated O2 sensors should be mounted farther away from the head.  Is this a potential problem with the Power Duals?  Perhaps there is insufficient clearance in the stock location with this header.

I have the PowerDuals on my SESG2 and noticed that they relocated the sensor.  But given the stock location has nearly no clearance I'm sure it had something to do with why they relocated it.  I used to have Rinehart's CrossBacks on my CVO Springer and the rear heat sensor was in the same location.  No issues with either application.
