cvo convertible exhaust
« on: October 19, 2010, 04:28:10 PM »

Anyone know of any aftermarket exhaust for a 2010 cvo softtail convertible, slip-ons, etc.
Don't want V & H and Rush seems to be the only option i can find.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'll try to do a U-Tube for you tomorrow. But yes. This is the most awesome sounding set of pipes I've ever heard. I encourage you to research D&D exhaust, Ft. Worth Texas. The company is" Heavy" into performance. You wont be disappointed. They sound like a porsche race car. And on deceleration or just while switching gears, like a monster growling with his tongue out, head shaking side to side. I went with the wrapped, "Quiet" baffles. And believe me, they are plenty loud without being too obnoxious. But by no means could you describe them as" Civilized.
The Boarzilla is" built for" softails. Any other 2 into 1 performance pipe will drag. Hence the"  Upswept" muffler.

Do you have a pic and audio to go with the V&H pro pipe? Someone on youtube had video of the 2010 convertible, wasn't really impressed with the, it may have been the video though?. Looking for pipes with a deep throaty sound.

I'm putting custom painted (to match bike)hard bags on my 2010 convertible. I don't know if the D&D Boarzilla would work with their upward slant exhaust. Anyone looking for stock bags that came with the bike. let me know, i'll let them go for reasonable price.

What does anyone think about Cobra Exhaust. I contacted them and they sell slip-ons SKU#6003 with 3" exhaust/2" baffle for $300.00 that would fit my 2010 connvertible. They have video of these pipes on a regular softtail. They sound throaty and deep.
Any imput would be great.

Thanks

Just curious what you don't like about V&H slips-ons (referring to your first post)?
