Road Zeppelin and Chopped Tour Pak Fitment problem
« on: March 18, 2006, 06:28:53 PM »

Has anyone installed the Road Zeppelin seat and run into the problem of the rest which is attached to the tourpak now resting on the pillion (folds onto it because of the greater seat thickness). Any solution other than cutting off the bottom of the backrest??

Thanks

Yes, I have the same problem when using the pizza box tour pak.  I open the lid and roll the bottom under and back when closing the lid.  Most of the time it stays.  However, I rarely use the seat without the king pak and use the zepplin backrest on the king pak.

Is there a zeppelin backrest for the tourpak?

yes, it looks like the normal tour pak rest.  I think it would sit too low for the short pak.  It doesn't inflate or anything.
