FLHRSE4 Luggage Rack
« on: October 22, 2010, 12:12:20 PM »

I recently purchased the Detachable Two-Up Luggage Rack (53743-97) which according to the HD website should fit my bike, but I don't see any way to get it to work.  Is there something else I need to purchase so it works? FLHRSE4 2008 Road King CVO

That bike has a wider rear fender than a regular RK. I would doulble check to make sure that is indeed the right kit and that the attachment points have the corrrect spacers.

The only suggestion I can make is make sure it fit's. Make sure the shop you go to is well knowledged with your type of bike. Unfortunately, the area I'm in many HD or indie's here don't have much knowledge on CVO's. When I got my CVO serviced at Barnett in EL Paso Texas the Service Manager asked me who custom painted my bike. So make sure your parts fit...
