A friend of mine knows a guy (I can't remember his name) that works with Willie G. in the softtail development program. He has been pushing Willie G. to put a V-Rod motor in a touring model for a limited production to see how sales would be. I was told Willie G. wasn't too keen on the idea, but the guy is pretty persistant. So who knows...maybe it will be a reality.

Trust me Mike. We've relayed the message. But who knows how far it went. Hopefully the MoFoCo will make it all good sooner than later.

Sounds like you want the MoCo to do it all from you straight from the factory? [smiley=confused5.gif] Now you know that is not the reason the P&A catalog is over 500 pages. They will give you just enough so you can make a mega-dollar wish list and buy, buy, buy. :o

If it wasn't for the aftermarket parts HD would not be as strong. They like you said DooD give you just enough rope to hang yourself with it.Rides look good from the factory but all are missing a little something.Which they will provide of course for a "nominal"fee. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

BigDaddy,
And to top it off the mark-up is over 200% :( On top of that, we get excited when dealer has a sale and marks stuff down 20, 30, 40, 50%. [smiley=confused5.gif] I would hate to admit the times that I have run to dealers as fast as my feet/bike would carry me just to purchase something because they were having a sale. :-[

But we all have found out what H-D stands for..... "Hundred Dollars" [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

But don't you feel good and walk out of the dealership with a  :) on your face after donating H.D. another Hundred Dollars.
Our most recent donation was the new Screamin Eagle leather jackets they just came out with. We had to buy one for her and one for me. They wouldn't give us two of their travel blankets (free w/purchase of $250.00 or more). So I said screw it, ring both coats up seperately. She said MoCo wouldn't allow two free blankets for one purchase. Gimme a break, we're about to dump over 800 bucks...so we made two seperate purchases about a minute apart so we could get the two blankets. Like the MoCo is really hurting for cash! I really do feel sorry for them, I just don't know how they can stay in business at times.

Wonder if that sales clerk would have found a way for it to work if you first suggested that you would buy one jacket from her store, and get the other from a competitors store? I bet she would have figured out some way to get you both of the blankets if she thought her store was going to loose a $400+ sale. On second thought maybe it wouldn't have affected her at all, some dealers/employees of dealerships have the

It's not leather but I do admit it looks really good on her. She came home and put the cvo pin on it and started asking if the new patch was going to match. I guess we're going to have to start coordinating all of this stuff or our "better halves" are going to step in and take it over.
We all know that we can't afford to upset them!

But she's happy as could be that she'll be styl'n in Cripple Creek.

Dear Great Biker in the Sky

Whatever promise of goodness you desire from me in exchange for the following I will pledge to it fealty.

Do not allow my wife to find this website, furthermore should she ever encounter any of the wives of the members of this site strike her deaf and blind until such time as I escort her out of eye and ear shot of said other wives.

Amen
