Patrick from eGlide Goodies should be releasing his locking glove boxes anytime, now.  It was supposed to be today.

Just got the response from Patrick at eGlide Goodies.........

Subject: Re: Locking Fairing Vents

Hi JC:

Thanks for the update as I do not get to the forum too often.  Please go ahead and let your forum members know about the latest status.  The eGlideGoodies GD-1 lockable glove box doors are a different design.  The doors are a complete assembly that securely bolt directly to the existing glove box frame opening.  The door are hinged on one side so that the rider does not have to lift them out, which we believe is an existing problem with the stock flexible non-locking door flap.  The GD-1 doors currently will be available in wrinkle black powder coat which looks very nice with the existing glove box and other surfaces on the H-D Electra Glide.  The doors come with chrome keyed barrel locks , also matching the other barrel lock systems on the H-D, albeit they are smaller to match the dimensions of the glove box door.  eGlideGoodies will have them up on the website by the end of this week....photography session this Tuesday.  Final pricing is still TBD but our target price is $239.99 for a set.   We will also be introducing the GD-2, a combined product that will offer one lockable door and one CD storage pouch  for riders who opt for both lock-ability and easy access CD Storage, similar to what you find on other fine  touring bikes.

I recieved my glove box lids yesterday. WOW!!  [smiley=bigok.gif] They are high quality and a perfect match. I was pleasently surprised when I opened the package. They are pricey but well worth it. Thanks Darrell for the quick service and great addition to my bike!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
