A quick tip for those of you that have the locking covers.  I use the outdoor scotchguard on the leather of the covers to keep them looking new.  I use scotchguard on all my leathers & have found that the bugs just wipe off and the rain just rolls off.  I apply it to everything about 3 or 4 times a year.

I thought scotchgaurd was discontinued for causing cancer [smiley=nervous.gif]

PS the locking covers are on and look fantastic.  This is a quality item and I love 'em! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Yeah they are great,  everybody thinks they are a very cool item and wish they could get a pair,  then I tell them only 10 exist.  You did a great job Darrell.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Thanks again for the positive feedback.  It's good to see they are appreciated, it was a real pain in the a$$ to have them made.

Hey Darrell - ditto regarding the glove box covers.  I rode Rolling Thunder this past Sunday in DC and a lot of people noticed them right away. I could have sold 20 sets of them...got the locks rekeyed...great addition to the bike.  By the way, thanks for the quick delivery.  Mail out of Canada sure travels faster than mail into Canada.  regards, PJ

With the image of a biker I don't know anybody who would have the ***** to touch anything on a harley.

Well so much for my thinking of someone stealing from me. Was in Toronto this weekend and came out from the Skydome and there's no helment, glasses or digital camera. First time in 30 yrs.. I guess people have changed, so I need to also. I live and learn but don't listen well.

Yeah its the s**ts you can't trust poeple.   [smiley=furious.gif]  where you able to get home.  I'll have a set of the locking glove boxes for sale (made by Darrel on this site) ordered the vented lowers and don't think they will fit.

Have they changed the glove box design on the 05's?

Mr. Magoo,
Just noticed your post saying you were going to sell your set of the lockable lowers.

Rats, then just read the next post.  Will the lockable covers not fit on an 05?  If they'll fit I would like to buy the set you've got for sale.  If they won't fit an 05 then I'm (proverbially) hosed.

Thanks again,
Don

Hey Tony, I did in fact have an Ultra.  But it wasn't white it was a two tone silver & black.  The white one you are thinking of belonged to DaveT.  Dave was the unfortunate one who hit the deer.  I did post a lot of mods on that Ultra at V-Twin forums, and on the Electraglide Garge Forum but under the name "Little Chief" - (long story). Famous? I doubt it but it's nice to know that the postings are appreciated.  I have done a lot of mods on the SEEG that I need to post here yet, but I just haven't had any time.  As it is I still owe someone here some wiring diagrams. Will post them all the mods in the fall or over the winter when I can't ride up here.

Well after picking up the vented lower it appears that the locking glove boxes will work.  The snaps on the 05 are slightly different in there position but the opening is the same.  Sorry if I got anyone excited.
