Performance Enhancing Drugs? Whats the difference ??

With all the talk about performance enhancing drugs in sports. Great athletes like Barry Bonds , Mark McGwire , Roger Clemens etc. etc.....  I pose this question to you.

While watching ESPN Monday Night Countdown tonight , they talked about Brett Favre getting an injection in his ankle so that he can play next weeks game.

Is that not "performance enhancing" ?? Or is "performance allowing" not considered to give an advantage. It would seem to me that without the injection Brett would not be able to play. Not one word was mentioned about this being a negative thing. Not to mention at the time Brett won the Super Bowl and MVP awards, he was addicted to pain killers ... coincidence, i think not !!! Most players are taking some sort of Pain Medication daily. Is this not performance enhancing ??

Maybe you will agree , maybe not. It definetly makes me wonder. Whats the difference  :nixweiss:

Who cares if they are on the juice !  :nixweiss: they are athletes, its for our entertainment. I think its a personal choice and certainly not one congress should be involved in.

Provided a certain gentleman from Missouri remembers the substance in question should be added to the vehicle's fuel system and not his own respiratory system.  ;)
