well i finally bit the bullet and bought the new cvo softail covertible in scarlett red, it is due in melbourne at the end of this month.
after much toing and froing and getting over the initial sticker shock..... $43,000 aud ride away, i put my deposit down last saturday afternoon as my local dealer was closing for the day,
went in the week before and asked every question i thought possible, looked at all the videos and now cannot wait, i am like a kid counting down the sleeps till xmas.
the only hard part was going home on saturday , telling my wife ..... that part was ok till she asked.... what about your softail custom , how much trade in did you get? well how could i part with my 96 fxstc that has travelled the world with me,
in the end she agreed to let me have the two bikes.
to those of you who have been to york P.A and seen how they are put together, the decision is already made as soon as you see them put together, i had this great pleasure back in 03 at the 100th, when i saw the 03 road king , but that was not beeing made for oz, so it has taken until now to find one i loved as much.
