Why?  :nixweiss:  Are you having problems with your 110?

Gotta disagree with you on that one Chip...I've had three and haven't had a problem with any of them.  Granted, the 11 doesn't have many miles on it yet, but the 10 and the 07 is/was problem free.    :nixweiss:

Good to be of the chosen few without problems. Most of us drew the short straw.

How many miles you have on the 07 or the 10?
Your right, the 11 don't count till it has some miles.
Tell me the above when you get 45,000 miles on any of them.
I still say it's not a matter of if it's when.

Chip, I had almost 20K on the SEUC, and have almost 10K on the SESG.  I haven't done anything to them other than replace the pipes and headers.  (no internal mods).  I drive all my bikes between 65 and 75 miles an hour.  Maybe I baby them, I don't know.  But if I wanted a racing bike, I would have bought a Katana.  I'm not saying there hasn't been problems with the 110, but we're not hearing the ones that haven't had any problems, just the ones that have had problems, which appears to tip the scales and gives the perception that the 110 is a bad motor.  I can only speak from personal experience, and if I do become one of the unfortunate ones, then that's what I have a warranty/ESP for.  JMO.

I just clocked 25 on my FLHTCUSE4 - at 24 my FHRCI SE 103 hat her first fatal "problem" - and nothing serious happened ;)

Quite confident in the bike, best Harley I had ...

Got a little over 76k on my '07 cuse2.  Had all the 110 problems originally - so bad in fact that new motor at about 22k.  But after the '110 fix' a couple years ago this new motor with 54k on it sure seems to be rock solid.  Runs strong, uses not oil.  Only problem is the heat, and man it is hot!  But so is my new '11 ruse so I'll just live with it.  The good outweighs the bad - so far at least.

My 09 has 30k, and I agree.

I put 34,000 on my 06 103, 38,000 on my 07 110, and have 21,500 so far on my 08 110. Did have head recall on the 08 but no problems with heads after fix. However, the 103 was my favorite engine.

20k on my 08 CVO King,  10.5k om my CVO Blk Ultra -- no problems so far.

Comment about HP -- the CVO 110 with a T-Max tuner and duals gives you somewhere around 95 - 105 HP, with 100 - 115 torque, possibly more if you change a few internal parts.  the new 120 is rated at 120 HP, so you can jump that to 135 without too much difficulty.  The new BMW 1600 is rated at 160 HP.  Point is -- How fast do you need to get to 65 mph?  and is the extra $5k for the 120 really worth it?

The question might be more like...."Why not" :P  I'm really trying to fight off an urge to drop one in my 2011 Street Glide...I just see fun written all over that one...well...except for the beating my wife would give me ;D
