5,700 worth. Fixing the bike cost more after the dragon got me than the deer.

Lug, all I know is you're better off that you were in the cage than on the scooter when you hit it.  [smiley=nervous.gif] And glad it didn't come thru the windshield.   [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  spyder

Really, did anyone hear the story last week about the girl that hit a moose, it flew up the hood and ended up sitting in the passenger seat like it was supposed to be there but had its head stuck out the window...and it was still alive! - I heard there was pics but was busy on the road all day and never got to look for them.

Yeah, saw the pics.....looked strange enough.  Unfortunately, heard that they had to 'down' the Moose.  :( spyder

Dood - You don't have to "worry" about them, hit that and you'll never know it! That looks like the driver hit it from behind, took the legs out from under it and it sat down in the passenger seat. Hit it like that on a scooter abd you might have a chance though - as its rectum may act like an air bag ;D

Don't want that air bag thing happening.

/me almost turned a fire truck over on a country road one time. [smiley=nervous.gif]

It took several firefighters and a big spatula to get me and the seat seperated, don't want to do that again. [smiley=oops.gif] :o :'(

Dood, I know that feeling, I'm always trying to be the best driver I can as I pilot load 26-30 wheelers down the road weighing 130,000lbs or so. I went back last winter to the guy that trained me and got him to take me back out on the skid pad! They have a giant blacktop yard with a "slippery" surface that they wet down. They get you up to speed and on the other end is three color coded markers, the instructor tells you to head for one then all of a sudden he hollers a different color and you swerve, meanwhile he has controls on his side of the rig that will lock up whatever axle he wants and sends you into skid or spin and there you go! after a few runs you adjust and get the hang of driving out of a situation, but the first few times - whoa, hang on to your lunch. There's something not right about sliding out of control and looking out the door and seeing your trailer catching up to you! All in all its a blast and a major learning experience, I've done it twice, but the guy that runs the pad must be a lil cuckoo - he does it all day a couple of days a week!
