Latest Version of SERT Disc "G"
« on: March 20, 2006, 10:07:04 AM »

Does anyone have this version yet?  I am interested in the PDF file which provides a summary of contents for new files for the 06 CUSE as well as the detailed listing (table) of all the various Calibrations.

If you have the "F" Part Number version on the Box, check your Disc inside to see what Part Number version you have.  It should say (Part Number) ending with "G".

The F version only had Calibration 36 for the 06 CUSE's.  Getting ready to install 2:1 pipes and SE AC and hope the "G" version may have a new calibration to build from.  I have also heard the may have a calibration specifically for the cold start issues (stock set up).

Also looking for someone here that is experienced with interpretation and programing of the RT's.  I got my printouts from the dealer and compared the "corrections to Calibration 36" to the original 36 for their adjustments for the cold start problem.  Interesting approach as they did not touch the Warmup Enrichment Table, just the AFR for lower RPM's (750-1250 RPM in the 20-60 kPa range) and the VE Front and Rear Cyl Tables for the same RPM range in the 0 (zero/idle) Throttle Position (percent).  Maybe I should start a seperate thread for the mapping issue.
Feedback is appreciated.  Obviously, I am not an experienced tuner :-[ but lhave enjoyed reading the RT manual and would like to validate my own thoughts/questions.

I don't have a clue what you are talking about but my disc has a part number of 32117-01G. Is this what you are looking for ? The race tuner box is marked 32107-01E and has a date on it of 02/13/06.

I did not get a disk with mine, all I got was a little black box from the the dealer, they told me to keep it with the bike in case I am somewhere and have a problem with my bike the dealer doing any work will have all the info... Question 1. should I have gotton a disk. 2. what is on the disk. 3. Do I need to get one.

Thanks all

If you paid for a SERT, you should have gotten a CD, 2 cables and the black box you have.

Let us know if it cures the cold idle issue.  I'm dealing with it now and the dealer says that they don't have a fix yet for the cold idle issue. [smiley=confused5.gif]

I got the box with all the cables and disc to load on my lap top.  They had written my name and vin # on the box along with the install date and other info.  They also etched this same info along with the dealership's name and install date on the little black box.
I had to ask for printouts of the various sheets to see which Calibration they used.  I guess if you do not intend to make your own changes, it wont matter but I do not see why they would want all the extra CD's and cables.
The CD has two programs, one for the uploads and the other for data collection (lap top hooked up to the bike while running).  The other two files are PDF files with a list of all the Calibrations contained on the disc as well as the User's Manual (lots of pages and interesting reading).  Hope this helps

I have it. My box is PN 32107-01E, dated 02/08/06 and includes the disk with PN 32117-01G. Is it the Calibration PDF that you want?

Nowhere in the detail do I see anything that says "cold idle" but I don't know if that means anything.

Big THANKS to you Bret & Mike for getting Ver G posted for us.  Mike, I printed all the tables from both Ver F and Ver G and compared them.  I found no difference in any of the settings.  Only thing I did notice is in the description of Components for Ver G - they have added "25deg Injectors P/N 27709-06."  Guess these are the OEM injectors on our CUSEs but haven't had a chance to check it out yet.  Is this what you determined also?

Regards,

Jerry
