Looks cool but if you ever over fill or splash gas it looks like it would funnel it right into the ipod/connection.  I know none of us ever spill gas :D .  Nice clean look though.

I've never had any dealings with Hell's Foundry, but their stuff is sure expensive.  I hope it's worth $400  :o  Not for me as I have the iPod in the saddle bag going on with my SEURG, and use the Zumo on my SESG.

Ha!  I met these guys downtown Plymouth Michigan this past summer outside a cigar bar.  They told me that they were coming out with this dash along with other cool things for Harleys.  They are located in Southeast Michigan.  Too bad you lose the connectivity of your headset and intercom, and of course the production label on my current dash.  Cool stuff though!

Great idea, and it looks nice.

Speaking only for myself, I like having controllers up near my bars and closer to eye level. That way I don't have to dip my head down to look at it while riding. To others it may not be a big deal, but I can easily see myself looking down to try and work buttons and squinting to read the screen while riding 80mph on the freeway. Like others I keep my iPod in the tourpack.

You make some nice stuff.

I agree mine is up on the bars this would be distracting if you get a call or text. Even using the maps would cause you to take your eyes off the road. Just not safe?

I bought the Gas door with an integrated gps mount used it once and removed it for the same reasons.
