black cvo ultra, looking for a better exhaust note
« on: November 04, 2010, 11:20:22 AM »

We Xmas is approaching and my wife asked me what I wanted so I naturally said pipes.  The big question is which.  I already own a TTS which I know how to use pretty well.  As I see it, I could go with the fullsac option but I've never heard their x-pipe/baffle combo.  I could just add some slipons but not sure who's.  I don't think I will change the airbox yet, I may wait until there is a K&N option available for my currrent airbox.  I like the cover my bike currently has.  Any options would be appreciated.

I did a search on youtube for harley exhaust and found FullSac, Fatcat, V&H propipe.
It will give you an idea.  There was one of a before and after too.  I am going to go with the Fullsac option.  You might like the D&D Fatcat it has a nice deep note.

Have the V&H true duals with monster oval mufflers. I like the look and the sound.

I am very pleased with my Fullsac x-pipe and 2.0 baffles. Works great with the TTS

I've got the Vance and Hines Power Duals with their Monster Rounds.  Nice deep sound and I can still hear the radio.

Here is V&H dresser duals with CFR slipons.  I can't tell you how many times other riders tell me that my setup is the best they have ever heard.  Not for the faint at heart though...LOUD.

Damn those new SG's are sweet, love the orange.

Would kill for a sound clip of the D&D's.....On youtube, I only found one on a 110, but it said it had some kind of custom baffles.
