First 40, miles were great with minimal breakdowns
52 weeks I had 52,900 miles on her
104 weeks it only has 65,000 miles with over 30 major breakdowns in 52 weeks
I normally average with over 1,000 miles per week

Last 4 months it only gets out of the shop with only 3-4 hundred miles and has another major breakdown

I had a D&D fat cat header installed with ghost pipe @ 5,000 miles with a screaming eagle race tuner and a Zipper breather should be running close to 100hp and 110 ft pounds torque

Dearler ship did a dyno last week was @ 70 hp and 100 ft pounds torque----they tell me nothing is wrong

I found out that it may be wet sumping---from when they did the oil pump replacement----They refuse to do any more work on it until it breaks down again----anybody know how to get them to move foward with getting it dependable again...

By the way I just purchase a 2010 Honda goldwing to have something dependable---put 12,000 miles on it in 9 weeks

I think YOU are the major cause of the 30 breakdowns, your obviously under the misguided impression that the touring bike you  bought was supposed to be ridden, if you take your toy out of the basket its bound to get broken..........just sayin

I am so jealous that you have the time to ride so much!

WOW,  i am jealous too.

I would love to have that kind of freedom to put those miles on.   And that bike is one of my favorate paint schemes as well.

Obviosly you have the resources to do what ever when ever you want.  Put a new motor in the beutiful bike and keep on riding.     :2vrolijk_21:

My Lawyer is now working to get my bike fixed. And Harley wonders why they are having problems. This is my 6th bike in 15 years and I'm thinking it will be my last HD. The last three were CVO's.

Unless you changed cams, 100 HP with just just new pipes and breather, unlikely.  Your numbers should have been around 90-95 hp and between 105-110 TQ with that setup.  70/100 is lower than stock so you do have an issue that needs to be fixed.

Wait.  Something doesn't seem right.  You're saying you have 52 major-issue-free weeks with 53K miles then, over the next 52 weeks, you had 30 major issues?!  Did you do something to the bike that would cause that after the first year?  Seems like we're missing a piece of the puzzle.

If not, that Goldwing is looking mighty nice right about now!

Sounds to me like all you have to do is ride out of your driveway and it has a fairly good chance of breaking down again.  My question to you is:  Why are you keeping it?

+agree wish I could ride that many miles. Don't know if you did but sounds like you should have sprung for the ESP... HP @ TQ do seem low for the mods you made. Good luck.

Are you saying that in the first 52K miles all was basically well?
Then

104 weeks it only has 65,000 miles with over 30 major breakdowns in 52 weeks
Are you saying that the second 52 weeks you put only 12100 miles on the bike because you had

Am I reading understanding this correctly!
My 09 SEUC is at 46500 miles as of today and that's why I ask.

My question to you is:  Why are you keeping it?

I would guess that answer is based on a bike that cost $35.5K to start with, that he (and me) probably has over $40K invested in it.
And with 65K miles on the ticker the thought of selling a two year old bike and taking a $15K +  hit is not a good option. (an option YES, but not a good one)
And for me that's why my 09 SEUC is still in the garage.

I found out stock a 110 makes 72.9 hp at 4,500 rpm and 96.1 torque at 3,700 rpm... to the ground. Makes me wonder about some of the numbers i'm hearing from one forum to another. It would be great to get 100 hp with an air filter pipe and tune.
