Don,
I had remembered that several of the "CUSE" owners had them installed on there bike. Just did a search and the following members have them.

 "jeffj"
 "byronrb"
 "bigmanken"

You can check with them on information about how they like them.

I have a set of the early version shocks, non billet. I really like them. My Glide always rode nice either loaded or with the wife but not so good one up. The air allows me to adjust for any weight/road condition. The Bagger kit didn't come with a gauge but I do recommend one. Mostly for reference. I'd put another set on if I were to purchase/build another bike.

A FBI bike with exposed billet shocks.

I can't speak for Legend, but I have Platinum Air Suspension shocks on my SEEG and I think they are great.

The Legend air suspension has been on my '04 SEEG (the SpyderPsychle) since day one for over 38 thousand miles now and has worked as expected.  It has the advantage of letting you ride the bike at differing heights depending on how much ground clearance you need for hard cornering, crossing over speed bumps, or gives you great handling ability in gravel parking lots by slamming it in the weeds.  Us little, vertically challenged riders need that from time to time.  [smiley=drink.gif] Har!  The Legend folks I talked w/ claim to almost never have a call for replacement of the compressor and the replacement cost is no much (compared to the initial cost of the system which is in the high teens).  Legend was the 1st as I understand to build this type system for our bikes and I do not know how it compares to the others available, but I've had absolutely no complaints with the system on my scooter.  If you have specific questions, just PM me.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] spyder

Spy, I considered these when I bought my banana. My brother was jokingly suggesting them with all the money I was spending for the bike. At the time I could not justify the cost with the amount of other things I needed for the scoot. I figured that's one of those things you can get later. Progressive 440's sell easy on ebay. ;D I haven't thought much about them until just now seeing this thread! :o Although I still need to wait as I'm not thru sinkin more money into my engine via cams, new exhaust, and some other necessities. Y'all have a great day! God Bless![smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hey JR, not sure where Collierville is in Tenn?  Is it in the mountains?  If so and you ride the twisties a lot, you'd love the extra ground clearance the Legend Air shocks give you while still being able to lower when not needing that extra 3" of clearance.  It's nice to be able to adjust on the 'fly'.  Har!  8-) spyder

I have the Legend Air Ride System on my 06 CUSE as it was installed new and now with 4,600 miles no issues to date.
To me the systems works great and I enjoy it but it was a little pricey but hey what isn't anymore? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
Biggest reason I bought the air ride system was to lower the scooter when I am getting on and off it as I have a bad right knee and lower leg due to crashing a 2002 Purple FLHRSEI (gawd I loved that Bike) and slamming the bike (taking all of the air out of the shocks) helps me get on and off the bike a lot easier. I didn't realize when I purchased the system that I could adjust the ride of my scooter as to different road conditions. While riding sometimes I will take out or put air back into shocks (kinda like trimming a boat motor) and improves the ride immensenessly. I choose not to install a gauge as I didn't like that look, so I just air the system up and have a good feel for when it's just right.

The pic I attached shows the lower ride height with a CD case for reference

I have a little over 16k on my system and it's been great. As posted above dumping the air helps rolling the bike around, getting a sure foot when needed and assists in getting on and off of the bike. Plus the cool factor. As a Chopper owner that bike turns a lot of heads. While The Geezer Glide is not as aesthetically pleasing to the untrained eye it turns some heads. Especially when the air is dumped and your either watching your favorite movie or jamming to your favorite music.
