Led load equalizer
« on: November 28, 2010, 10:16:18 AM »

Finishing up my project (2004 Screaming Eagle electra glide)  Only lights on the rear are 2 flush mounted 8" x 1/2" led strips in the fuller panels and a led lit tag light.  These will act as run/turn/brake lights.. Its a 6 " stretch fender.  I need to know which load equalizer to order.  There are no turn signals on the front and only the above mentioned lights on the rear.  It does have factory alarm. Any help is appreciated.

Call Badlands.  They've got several different modules including pieces that let LEDs work up front and that are alarm compatible. Faking the load to let LEDs work up front will likely do the same for no load and no lights up front

(but I'll not comment on taking so much visibility off the front and rear)

I have found that Custom Dynamics much easier to work with than Badlands if you have a problem. Badlands reminds me of the dealers, they always try to find something wrong with your bike before even thinking it is there Chinese product.
Just my experience.
Dave @ Custom Dynamics when I had a eq problem took a new one, walked over to my bike and replaced it, no questions asked.
