2010 cvo s g  radio acting weird

Time to call your dealership. I had the same exact problem this past summer with my 2010 SEUC. It took 2 weeks to get a new stereo in because they were on back order. The service writer told me that HD had a issue with the 10's in the radio dept. Glad it's covered.

while riding , i look down and at times its on again, .....but will i be covered under warrenty ?....cause i'v had some serious motor work done , ....my stealer said bring it in and they'll ride it to see if it comes on, ...if it don't come on then they won't do nothing, ....well you know it won't come on, in a short ride , ...and i don't want them a**holes riding my bike, so i guess there's nothing that can be done

Laylonlo   the reason I asked is mine also comes on sometimes while riding & can never get it to do it at the dealer & refuse to let them keep riding it to try to duplicate the same issue I'm haveing & I have never heard of anyone having the same issue.   Now I know it's not just my bike's radio that does this.

what about checking with those nice folks at Ironcross radio?    a phone conversation does not cost much, and they might have some insight to the issue.

Yes, it will still be covered.  They can legally void coverage on a heavily modified engine, but that has nothing to do with the radio and they cannot use the engine mods to justify voiding coverage on other parts of the bike like the radio. 

If you were to just turn the switch to accessory and let it sit for awhile, would the radio do the same thing?  If it will, that would solve your conundrum about not wanting the a**holes riding your bike.  If it won't, call Harley direct and see what they say.  If you get a knowledgeable person who is honest, they will know about the radio issues and will help to arrange a replacement without having to put up with BS from the dealership.

That's their favorite BS line when they don't want to be bothered with you and your problems - 'could not duplicate.'  Heck I'll bet some of them even use the initials 'CND' they are so lazy and won't even take time to write it out.

While I do not have the same unit I have experienced this effect...on my fourth unit now...
