Follow this link and you can read what a customer just finished doing on his own bike in his own words.

It's pretty easy to follow the instructions on the TTS and get a great running bike.  I've done it on my two bikes and will do it on the third when it comes in two weeks.   I had my second bike pro tuned (by the same tuner in Ken's page) and it had a wicked torque dip right in the range I normally ride.  At the time he blamed the exhaust.  It bothered me, so I started from scratch and v-tuned the bike myself.  When I went back to the tuner we did another run and I was within a couple HP and a couple TQ, but my v-tune did NOT have the torque dip.  I was thoroughly impressed with both the TTS and myself.

Thanks, Steve Cole for posting the above link.  Extremely interesting.  The fellow that wrote the article was very articulate.  Assuming it was Ken and not Judy. ;D

Ditto on the previous thanks for the post.  That was an excellent article and the author did a great job in his approach to tuning and maintaining some level of scientific objectiveness.

The best part was he did it himself and if you look at the final tune from the dyno it didn't get much improvement in the the areas he did himself. In the areas he admitted to not gathering much data in, is where the real improvements were made on the dyno. So its all up to how much are you willing to spend your time doing.
