2010 CVO Ultra Crimson Mist FLHTCUSE5d cool stuff
« on: December 02, 2010, 11:15:07 AM »

Hey,

I went to arlenness.com and bought the chrome scalloped derby cover,  chrome point cover, black horn casing with chrome scalloped insert for the horn.......and it looks fricking awesome on the bike and everything cost less than $250.  Now, I have a Rolland Sands air intake that matches my front brake rotors, however i am considering selling it on ebay and replacing it with the Alen Ness Big sucker with the matching scalloped insert to match!.  It's too late for me to do this, but they offer everything i mentioned above in reverse.  They offer a black base, with the scallop cut polished metal for a contrast.  That looks really cool and part of me wishes i went in that direction, but non the less, it looks really cool.  Just installed everything, I will try and post some pictures when i get some time.

down below the box where you type your message there is the line that says attach.   browse to your picture and then attach it to your post.   Size is important, best if you .jpg files

Your attachment couldn't be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information :worthless: :worthless:  I can't upload the pictures??

The file/picture you are trying to upload is probably bigger than is allowed you may have to shrink it down a bit.

come spring time, I'm going to pick up the scalloped derby cover- I've been eyeing one at my shop for awhile....gives it a nice classy look, and beats the plain chrome cover HD puts on the SERG.

And, oh ya-  :worthless:

Alen Ness back horn and scallop derby and horn cover
« Reply #11 on: January 06, 2011, 01:08:32 PM »

Finally i figured out how to get the picture posted.  I have a Crimson Mist CVO Ultra.  I changed the point & derby cover to the Arlen Ness Chrome scallop covers.  I bought the black horn replacement and the 5 point cover to match.  Picture kind of sucks cause i had to take it on an angle with the bike in my trailer, but it really looks good.  Very nice and the total tag was only about $200

Don't feel bad it took me a while to catch onto the picture posting thing also. I never could figure out  how to make the Photobucket thing work.
