Cool weather and short rides that only begin to warm up the engine.  Either that or you've got a coolant leak inside the motor  [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  ;D .

ultra,

Ten miles in low ambient temps is not enough to get the oil hot enough to evaporate the moisture.

Just wanted to let all of you know that I checked the coolant and it is OK!

Seriously though I don't do short runs.

If you find that it is in fact a coolant leak,  you can add a sealer to the radiator (I think it's called Bronz Seal or something).  I works wonders on all kinds of leaks (maybe if you get really bored,   mix some with hot water and rub it on the outside of the engine case)  LOL...........Keep them coming guys...I need the laughs today (otherwise I may just put that bullet in my head I've been savin').........(remember the old saying,  why are bosses like diapers....always full of sh$t and always on your a$$......havin that kind of day)

Take heart Beagle.  Just remember what my old dad told me:  "Cheer up, things could be worse."  So I took his advice and cheered up.  Sure enough things got worse!

2lane,

I tried that, but couldn't seem to find the fill cap or reservoir.
