Didn't see this mentioned, but you don't need the special tool to align the ignition switch. I turned my bars to the lock position, used a long straight slot screwdriver and turned the switch to the lock position and dropped the selector switch in turned to the lock position. Take your time and and make $60 per hour.

Dealer said it only takes 1.5 hours to change out the inner fairing that would be about $125 bucks

I guarantee you that he doesn't have a tech that could do it in 1.5 hours.   But jump on that price if you need it done.
