There is a lot more to this than just the the CVO103 versus the PowerPak 103. First, the Limited is heavier than the older CVO. Second, the gear ratios are different and are skewed more to cruising versus acceleration. So even if you achieved the same engine output, the old CVO103 should outrun the new bike in a stop light gran prix. Of course, I'm not so sure drag strip times should be the top consideration when purchasing a TOURING motorcycle.
On the plus side, the new style frame is a big improvement over the earlier models in terms of handling and stability. And the new bikes offer more electronic gadgets and things like ABS braking as well as closed loop fuel injection if those sorts of things interest you.
If you are seriously interested in the Limited, consider a gear ratio change (30 tooth trans output sprocket) to regain the performance lost to the weight gain and gear ratio changes. Much better in terms of reliability than internal engine mods or 110's, IMHO.
