A little over 10k on my rear when it was changed. Yes a few (well maybe more) burnouts. I was thinking about changing brands but don't know who to try.

Got much better mileage out of this Dunlop rear.....[highlight]replaced at 4700[/highlight]...

That's about par for me, too.  A "BIG MOTOR" with "BIG TORQUE", and that ever incessant "Need for Speed", are the two most attributable characteristics one must possess, to produce and maintain minimal tire life.  There endeth the lesson.  [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] Later--HUBBARD

Just changed the rear at 9500 miles and the front is still just dandy ! Only a few smoke shows on the rear tire

       With what you got going on,  I'm suprised you get that many miles (One question,  if you dump the clutch in third,  does the front end come up or do you just loose more rear tire life???).

I agree,
     I broke a lot of sh$t in my younger days too,   but there are days when I just can't resist the temptation.  Besides,  I love the smell of burning rubber.
