One thing I did notice was more vibration at idle. It seems to me that the engine has less room to move around at idle because this device holds the engine in a more rigid posture. Initially I adjusted the arm from trans to swingarm mount while bike was on a frame jack. When I checked the adjustment with the bike on it's normal kickstand I felt it was too tight and backed off one (1) turn. (on kickstand but standing straight up) To me it seemed like some of the vibration was eliminated and I suspected I had set it too tight at first.
The only hassle was having to drop the exhaust system. Big deal, right?

Interesting thought. I 'm not sure if it vibrates more or not, but now that you brought it up I will always be thinking about it, kind of like that song your kids sing on long trips, "This is the song that never ends......"

Good idea about checking with the frame off the jack, will do that next time I come back from a ride.

Installed mine yesterday, took about 1 hour and I did have to remove the starboard exhaust. I am not sure if it vibrates more or if you just put that in my head and I'm looking too hard for it. Could be I've spent the last week or so on my (new to me) 03 SED which does not vibrate near as much as the SEEG. Did not test it due to the many Budweisers consumed during the installation process, I will take it out this afternoon and post a report later. (when my head stops pounding, getting old is hell)

Do you have one installed? Just curious where you draw your conclusions from. Or is that just your "guess"?

I just took mine out yesterday afternoon to test it out for real, in all the different types of conditions and situations that I'd felt the wobble before installing it. My problems all were in the 70 -80 MPH range, long sweeping curves (esp. right curves) and heavy wind tubulence from large trucks on expressways going around 75 mph. I could not have hoped for a better result, kept looking for any hint of a wobble and it just wasn't there. If anything, I'd tried to imagine it and it was not there. I am thrilled with it.
