Nice hardbags.  Get a big fairing for the front and big back seat and you've got yourself a fat ultra...

I'm also teaching my wife to ride and she's taking her state riding classes next week.  She's been studying hard and has her eye on a Blue Ultra Classic, though I'm trying to get her to stick with an older Nighthawk 750 to get a few miles down before going for the heavy ride :-/

Updates for project: FatGlide
« Reply #8 on: August 20, 2006, 09:28:45 PM »

Been busy getting the wifes bike done so Project: FatGlide was on the back burner but this weekend I got some time to finish fabbing up the mounts and brackests. The bags are usable and mounted up tight in close following the fender lines. I still have to finish cleaning up the welds on the lower brackets, I will probably re-do the upper brackets again and after all done have everything chromed. Then after the batwing is done I will have to come up with a paint scheme, but here are some pics better showing the looks of the bike with the bags in place.

Let me know what you guys think.

as before all pics can be found at http://royogren.com/gallery/fatglide
