SS2K IBA RIDE - MAY 2011
« on: December 27, 2010, 12:19:01 PM »

Riders - I have to schedule leave from work quite a bit in advance.  So I have already blocked early May to get in my SS2K IBA certification. I have a route from Northern VA to Natchez MS and return.  I like to keep my IBA rides to no more than 4 total.  If you are so inclined, let me know.  If you are not an IBA member already - please see ironbutt.com for how to get your SS1K and the IBA Words of Wisdom.  Thnx, DOOFUS

If you could schedule your vacation for June you could attend what is shapping up to be one of the largest GTGs that this forum has ever seen..........  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=52512.0

There are a number of other members planning to attend but I'm not quite sure they're wanting to ride Iron Butt style all the way across country.  Some are riding one way and shipping the other....while others are riding both directions...while still others are going to fly & ride (rent).

Might as well make it an event and meet a lot of members on this forum while you're at it. :nixweiss:

Hadn't looked at the attendees list.  If Tahoe is really seeing attendance over the 125 or so collected the best year at Maggie Valley that's going to make for a great party.  Certainly something to aspire to.

Looks like 54 signed up now.  May hit the 100+ mark by June.

Judy and I are still on the fence, could go either way!

Step up Tommy.
Others need to see that tour pak.
It will be a blast in Tahoe!
We could meet and ride out.

Know the feeling Tommy.   Keep looking at schedules hoping to be able to pull the trigger.  Still a coin toss.

No, not at all.  It was a thread that started off talking about going for a ride.  It always talked about going for rides (just not the same ride).  That's about as close to on-topic as this place ever stays  :huepfenlol2: !
