Bike shut down to 15mph/1500 rpm with engine light on?

I have a 09 UCSE, with about 15000 miles on the 2nd motor, this morning on my way to work, after about 5 minutes of riding the bike shut down (didn't stop running) but couldn't get it about 15-20 mph and 1500 rpm, never out of second gear.  The engine light came on and stayed on.  No unusually noises for the engine, just a real lack of power, almost like only running on one cylinder.  Anyone have this happen to them?  Dealer coming to pick it up tomorrow.

The bike has gone into "limp mode". This is caused by a few things but typically an error between the ecm throttle control and electronic throttle body. Most common it's just dirty or corroded connectors at the throttle body and or ecm.

My 09 did this a few times, I had them disable the EITMS and the problem went away for me.   At first they said just use the throttle to disable it.  Kept recurring though with this method.   Would definitley check out the connections/ corrosion as well.

Same thing happened to me.
And I was out of town 700 miles away.

You guys were right, connections loose, dealer fixed it, warranty, and delivered the bike back to me, Superstition Haely Davidson in Apache Junction, Az. has done right by me again. Thank you guys for you accurate info. Have a safe and happy new year.

Based on this thread I pulled apart the ECM and throttle connectors, sprayed them with electronic cleaned and filled the plug with dilectric grease. Funny, they didn't do this at the factory. A friend of mine did the same thing on his 09 CVP RG and swears the bike starts easier.
