Check your build sheet. On the CVO Street Glide's build sheet the 3rd line, 2nd number is the number of the bike made out of 3700 for 2011. I also had the number on the side of the front and rear tires and in someones hand writting on the label with the removable bags, the number was there too.
wow can you get me some of what ever your smoking, that numbers the number of bikes that month and the cvo are on the same line as all bikes, what you have is the # of the bike so far that month

So what you are saying is that each month a number is duplicated ? Do you know this or are you guessing.

So that means Harley personal at head office in Milwaukee do not know what they are talking about.

I have a memory stick made out of metal with the b&s on it that is the media/press kit with all the information for all 2011 Harley Davidsons. This was handed to anyone that was at the July 27th, 2010 release of the 2011 line up.

It clearly says on the second page, half way down when they start taking about the CVO line up"Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) offers four premium, limited-production motorcycles for 2011".

On the 2011 FACTS & FEATURES for the FLHTCUSE CVO under Key Features second paragraph it says "Production will be limited to approximately 1,500 units at the Harley-Davidson Vehicle Operations facility in York,P.A". The same is said for the FLHXSE2 but of 3,700 units.

This information was prepared by Paul James who works at Harley-Davidson Motor Company
                                                                                              3700 W. Juneau Ave. P.O. Box 653, Milwaukee WI. 53201
                                                                                              Phone (414)343-8735  E-mail paul.james@harley-davidson.com

So when the question was asked if it is a limited production i would say, yes. What we do not know is which one since it does not have it engraved on the gas tank or an emblem on the side cover. I have sent an e-mail to Paul. Maybe he can answer the question of the "build number" or do they just slap them together and stop making bikes once they hit there quota.

Highlighted something you didn't... "approximately"... there could be 1500 models produced... there could be less... there could be more. One thing for sure is they are limited... but no one will know what that number is until they stop making them, and since they are not a (marked) number (xxxx of xxxx) better to just ride and enjoy. :2vrolijk_21: Even if it was numbered and you had specific number that meant something to you the only (IMO) numbers that might have value over all the rest might be the first and last of that production. :nixweiss:

You are 100% right there....this is for ME. I really do not care what number it is but at the same time i would like to know as much as i can about what i own. For me it is not about the money and how much it could be worth down the road. This is bike #6 for me and i still own them all. I cannot bring myself to sell any of them. My wife will not allow me to have girlfriends so i have bikes instead. :P

It would be nice to know how many of the same color bikes would show up at the party
I know that two of the dealers that had CUSE6 they sold them out of the area (my area), that leaves two dealers that have one each.

the dealer that i buy from only got one and they not able to get any more, and he's a high volume dealer.
I believe the last date the dealer can order bikes is the end of Feb for the 2011 not sure if that includes CVO Bikes :)

Either we are getting OLD or we REALLY REALLY LOVE a good pic of a CVO....lol

Oh by the way, NICE BIKE.

This is the answer i received today.

Mano  Paul forwarded your request for information to me to answer your question about the 349 number. That is a number used to reference the sequence the bike is for that day and it is used to identify what parts go on that bike when it is being built. The 0349 would be reused on any day they build 349 or more motorcycles so it does not identify the number yours was.

I also purchased this same bike.  It's still at the dealer with 0 miles waiting for warmer weather.  It is my second CVO and 7th Harley.  After sitting with my dealer and discussing the best value, especially when I decide to turn it, this bike we thought would be the best way to go because of the limited run of 1,500.  He thought that most dealers, would only get 1 bike in for the year.  With such a limited supply we both thought that the value would be much better then any other model.  Well, I guess Harely has pretty much sold out of this model, and so, wouldn't you know it, they decide to do another 1,500 in another color.  They did however take the "limited to approximatley 1,500" off their web site. Maybe with future CVO's they should say "Limited to how many we can sell". For me, any futre bike that does say "Limited", will have no bearing on me.  ----jay----

Buy the color and bike you love; the stock market is for investing!

I just bought my first CVO, the FLHTCUSE6. I read everywhere that it was a limited production of about 1,500 bikes.

My question is where do I look to find out which number mine was? Or is it even indicated anywhere?

The bike looks HOT!
The holder looks HOTTER!

Good taste all the way around.
