CVO limited production
« on: December 28, 2010, 12:26:17 PM »

I just bought my first CVO, the FLHTCUSE6. I read everywhere that it was a limited production of about 1,500 bikes.

My question is where do I look to find out which number mine was? Or is it even indicated anywhere?

It's a limited production (depending on supply/demand) but they are not "numbered" production.

Also.... When you get a chance you should go to this board - New Member Introduction and start a thread to introduce yourself.

Welcome to the site from Southern Ontario, Canada   :pepper:  There was only one line that they "numbered" the rest of us have no way of telling what number our bike was in the production line.

When I took delivery of my FLHTCUSE6 there was a packing slip with it that read Canada #51 and a finish date of Oct 18/10  "MAYBE"

Hey There Slow Ride,

Great looking ride you have there... Congrats!

One of the upsides of a slow economy is that there is a pretty good chance that the MoCo produced a lot fewer CVO Ultras this year, especially with them only producing it in one colour.  So you may just have one of a very few, but unfortunately they are not numbered individually.

If you go to the H-D website and navigate your way to the CVO History section, you can view prior years with their production numbers.  It will probably take a couple of years to see the 2011 posted, but hopefully you will eventually see the number for this production year.

In the meantime, I have read somewhere on this site of people contacting H-D directly and getting the production number of a given year.  Again, you will most likely have to wait a bit to make your request.

Hope this 0.02 worth of info helps?

Take care, ride safe and enjoy!

Check your build sheet. On the CVO Street Glide's build sheet the 3rd line, 2nd number is the number of the bike made out of 3700 for 2011. I also had the number on the side of the front and rear tires and in someones hand writting on the label with the removable bags, the number was there too.

The build sheet should be with your bike. When the dealership opens the crate it is taped to the wrap on the bike on the faring. I was there to grab mine. You might have to go back to the dealer and look for it. Hopfully they did not put it aside for you. Good luck.
