Fullsac -x pipe
« on: December 29, 2010, 09:42:31 PM »

Hi,

I was on the Fullsac site looking at the x-pipe. The model years was for 2009 -> 2011.  My question. Will the x-pipe fit a 2003 SERK?

I don't think so. You'll need the true duel conversion kit.

That's the one I'm ordering for my '08.

you could make it fit, but, it would take some work, along with oil pan mods, probably not worth the effort IMO

Did an 09 exhaust, on my 08 CVO Ultra. It required a new oil pan ( about $80.00) and tap and drill two holes in back of transmission case. I really have enjoyed the results, less heat, more torque, looks better ( IMHO ). There are detailed pictures on a SERG thread ( not sure where ) someone here is sure to know. Long story short once you make mods for 09 pipe, fullsac x will fit, installed one on my 09 SERG.

The oil pan swap is required, and not a big deal. 62.00 At Zanoties. I know of a few guys who have done the conversion with good results.

Steve,

I was hoping you would see this post.  Is the oil pan all that is required? One of the other guys mentioned drilling and tapping the transmission case.  I have a 2003 SERK. Thanks again for your reply.

I know it can be done on an 07 & up with an oil pan change.  But does the oil pan for the 07 up W/6speed fit on an 06 down W/5speed?

Great question. Not sure? The few that I know of were all 6 speeds. I have a pan gasket from a 5 speed and a broken 09 pan.
Let me see if they line up? I'll be back.
