Can someone please post a close-up pic of the marbled flames on their 2011 FLHTCUSE6 saddlebags?  I would really appreciate it.

Ooh, that looks bad, Harley guy!

Hope you didn't get hurt!

I'm looking for details in the marbeling.  On mine, there seems to be some Silver marbeling at the beginning of the flame that looks a little out of place.  I'm trying to figure out if this is normal or not

Her its a picture of my right bags flames.  The left side doesn't look the same.  Is this a defect?

The marbling I believe is done by hand and it could be special or defect however you choose to look at it.

Looks just like mine.  Somebody asked if my bag was scuffed, then on a closer look it was just the way it was painted.  Maybe it is special, like short bus special.   :nixweiss:

Anybody else have any pictures of their flames?

It's called marblizing and no it is not a defect. These flames, or actually the "effect" inside the flame is a custom paint technique and is IMPOSSIBLE to be duplicated with the same outcome each time because you have to "dab" the paint material with an object to get the desired effect of marble. The silver you see at the begining of the marbling is the actual material used to to do the effect. The red color (or whatever color your flame tips are) is the color of the candy that is applied over the top of the marbling. It's actually supposed to look that way.
