Has anyone heard a release date for the air cleaner filter for the 09' 110" Serg?

I am beginning to believe after all the promised dates they have made over the past 2 years they ain't going to "do" a air filter for our bikes, and as such will purchase from some other manufactuer if one becomes available rather than mess with them anymore, simply said, they have lost me as a customer.

I just got the paper POS from HD for $50!!  Was trying to hold out for K&N...but she sounded like she wasn't breathin' so good!!!!

Are there not concerns about oil damaging sensors in the intake...on a lot of autos the MAF gets burned out?

Don't over "think" this, I've used K&N filters in leu of OEM filters for over 20 years without a problem, when  K&N designs a filter they take all that in to account, I am not P*ssed off because they not not going to "do" one, I am p*ssed off that they have telling us for over two years they were.  Again I'll just stick with the HD one and move on.

You guys do realize you can wash the paper one just like a K&N? I use Dawn, let it soak a while and then flush with Shower nozzle on garden hose. Looks like new if done right. Have a buddy who uses K&N filter pre-soak before washing, that works well also. K&N makes a good product, but paper filters have worked for many, many years with great success.

I also washed the stock paper one for several times - and it is still in perfect condition , so it seems to me .

Yea, I'm thinking maybe the paper is just fine. I've washed mine about 3 times after 8k and its holding up just great. I'll get a new paper one when I think its time. Heck, I'll even save a little $ imagine that! Besides I never did like the red residue from the K&N oil. Why can't they make a clear or gray oil? Probably there trademark color.
