Ended the year on the Dragon.  Two friends and I rode up and over on New Year's Eve.  Still trying to figure out wht's up with Closed For The Season???  Since when is riding season closed??  Reminds me of a Candid Camera skit where they "closed" Texas - absolutely hilarious.  We didn't find this quite as funny, we were counting on that Dragon Burger when we got there..........

What, no snow chains for your bike?  I put mud grips on mine and never slid an inch!!

It should be noted that I thought the term "dual sport" meant riding vertically AND horizontally on the same trip........

LOL...never thought of "dual-sport" that way.    I stopped putting steel-spiked tires on when I moved out of Minnesota.

You in Fredericksburg?  Ever see some silver Dodge Dakota trucks up there with the OneVision name and logo on them?  We locate underground gas lines there for Columbia Gas.  I actually own OneVision, so if you see some of my guys (and gals) driving crazy just shoot me a line!

I used to really like watching motorcycle flat track-style ice racing, but when I saw a couple of those front tires eat up another riders leg that was way too much for me!

Yep, I live in "the 'Burg".  I've probably seen the OneVision trucks around, but now I'll keep an eye out for them.    I agree with you on the nastiness of getting run over with those ice track tires.  I watched a couple of Swedish flat track races on TV a while back and one driver got tore up pretty bad after being run over by another flat tracker.  It wasn't pretty.
