Five Year Anniversery
« on: January 05, 2011, 07:04:21 PM »

Wow, just posted my 300 th post and realized at the Easy Rider show it will be 5 yrs since I ran into JC after not seeing him for somewhere around 40 yrs. I must say, JC handing me a CVO card back in Jan of 2006 changed my life. I got to do something I always wanted to do in June of that yr. Ride my bike accross the country with JC, & AK. Got to meet some of the greatest people I know and they are members on this site. We hooked up with Jock, V-girl, Chip & Nancy, JR and family, Hubbard, and many more by the time we rolled into Cripple Creek for the GTG, my first I might add. Since then I have been to many GTG's out here with the NorCal  and supported by the SoCal group also.

Some of you know I was able to aquire custody of my daughter in June of 2010 so my riding has taken a second base, lately. She will be five this yr, so I'm trying to get bike set up for her to join us this yr and yrs to come. If you have any input or advise it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to meeting more new friends and seeing old ones as well.

Happy New year Everyone, Ride Safe and hope to see some of you at EasyRiders next weekend. :orange: :orange: :2vrolijk_21:  Jon

Hey, jonga!  Great to hear from ya', and glad to hear the good news about your little Girl!  :2vrolijk_21: Mine was 12 when I finally got her, and now she's 24!  Was tryin' to find that picture of all of us, when you guys met us at Tilley's HD, in NC.  It's on here, somewhere.  :nixweiss: Seems like yesterday, don't it?  8) Later--HUBBARD

Does anyone know the laws on passenger requirement in regard to height and weight or is their one ? Any input would be appreciated. Wouldn't you know it, theirs a ride this weekend and I picked some kind of cold. %$#& anyway. Plenty of fluid, sleep, cold medication and heated gear ? Right ?  :2vrolijk_21:

Wow, has it been that long already? I'm so glad to hear you have your daughter now! Advice? Alot of Love and a whole lot more of prayer! :D I remember when ya'll came thru Memphis. While Debbie was preparing dinner I took ya'll down to our square here in Collierville. Remember, they had a band playing there, it was pretty cool. When we got back to the house you had to do a little repair to your shift linkage. :o Next night we went down :otown on Beal street. I think about ya'll just about every time I go to sunset on the square here in Collierville. I sure had a great time. You are in my prayers Jon. God Bless!

When we stopped at Walgreens for JC.

That was back when we weren't letting Jon take pictures of his bike with the CVOs.....but I see he snuck it in back there on the end. :huepfenlol2:

Now he's got a real CVO! :2vrolijk_21:  Here's a pic of everybody checking Jon's new ride out...

Jonga congratulations on getting your daughter.  At the age of five I would be tempted to do a sidecar on my CVO, that way if I wanted to take a female friend and my daughter it would work out.  I had a bike with a two person side car and it was great.
