Dave, I thought if you rode that far in the UK you ran out of country?

Vinyl was fine for me - we rarely get temps high enough to make [highlight]"Betty Swallocks"[/highlight] a problem and the unpredictability of the weather in UK means a water resistant seat is pretty much a necessity.

My Dad used that phrase but I had never heard it from anyone else. I thought it was something he had dreamed up. Maybe us old codgers are to young to know where the phrase came from.

For all you Mustang lovers here.

Overall you seem to be pretty happy with the seats. What is your opinion of the vinyl as opposed to leather?

I am ready for a new seat and like the looks of the Mustang over the Corbin, but comfort is the priority, and that includes the "feel" of the vinyl.

Mustang seat looks like leather and 'feels' good to me. In FL we get our share of rain, so the vinyl was good. But I always keep a piece of dead sheep between me and the vinyl, cool in summer, warm in winter, otherwise I get sweaty azz (oops; Betty Swazz). I sweat all the time. I sweat on the stock seeg seat that's supposed to be leather, so leather doesn't stop that.
Wife says dead sheep looks 'wrong' on the seeg.  [smiley=argue.gif]

A monkey's butt (from the zoo's I've visited) are always red and look painfully sore.  You spend eight or ten hours in the wrong saddle and my butt feels like a monkey's looks........thus, Monkey Butt! [smiley=nervous.gif]
