The Memphis Shades fairing is what I refer to as a "naked" fairing... no inner workings for speakers, radio, etc.  I personally prefer that on my bike because of the room it allows me for the other stuff I already have mounted to the handlebars... (gps, J&M CB, etc.).   It's also about 1/3 of the cost of most other "fully equipped" fairings...

This thread has some good pictures of the inside of it off of the bike... http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=48834.0  These were taken before I got it painted, but I didn't get the inside painted so it still looks the same...

Here's one that somewhat shows the view from behind it so you can see the other gear I'm referring to... it's a bad picture but I think you'll get the idea...
