SoCal Ride Today
« on: January 12, 2011, 10:46:43 PM »

Well the weather is warming up around here and I'm finally getting over a cold so my son and I decided to break out his two bikes (mine is in Ohio) and go for a ride. Its so nice when your kids are doing well and can share their toys and take you out for lunch. Nick bought the RG as salvage when I crashed it a few years ago and wrenched it back to life and the WG was from his wife's employer who fell on hard times. Both of these bikes are my personal favorites...the 98 EVO anniversary RG, and the 02 anniversary Dyna WG.
We started out in the morning when the weather was just starting to warm up and decided to head to the Cardiff by the Sea for lunch and then head North up PCH to Oceanside.

On our way North on PCH we stopped a Las Olas for Mexican food and margaritas. This place is across the street from the beach and biker friendly with a great Happy Hour. The Krew met here often for planning the Pala GTG.

KILLER Margaritas!!  And cheap.  And the food is outstanding.  And cheap.  Parking is a little suspect, but nobody is perfect.  I think I feel a short trip coming up.

They still have the 5.00 combos and 3.00 maggies during happy hour which still is All Day. :orange: I'll need to get back there soon.  Lou

I am waiting for medical clearance to work before I ride, just my luck to drop the bike and break an arm while out for the brain resection and skull remodel.  :huepfenjump3:
