I know there is a reason why I moved to Tucson!! 365 days a year BLUU fires up. At least you guys in the cold country don't rack up the miles on your scoots.

Hang in there Face.  We're deep into January and then it's just make it thru the short month of Feb and we can head on down to sunny/warm/no-snow Florida for Daytona to begin another riding season.  :divers009: :vrolijk_13: :vrolijk_3: :sunny: :2vrolijk_09: I feel your pain, but the wintery mix won't last forever.  :nervous: har.  :drink: spyder

Thanks Spyd! Snow blower kicked my A*S last night. 5" of snow on top of an 1" of slush. Took 3 hours just to blow out the driveway. My back was toast! No way I could do it by hand. I didn't even touch the sidewalks. Beard completely frozen, fingers so numb they hurt & Soaked to the bone! When I thawed out I spent a little time in the garage talking to the bird! Am I nuts or do the rest of you guys talk to your scooters? The bird is plugged into the battery tender and in need of some clean up from my last ride a few weeks ago. Roads where kinda soggy! I guess a whore bath and some polishing will be my therapy for this weekend! Looking forward to sunshine!!! See you in the wind soon I hope!

Just a little faded memory for you to reminisce on Face.  Tomorrow is going to be 54F here in Sacramento (we miss you bro!) and 54F up in Colfax so we're headed up there to ride Mosquito Ridge again. :2vrolijk_21:

Oh, and the wife and I put 24,000 miles on last year. ;D  We're saving a hole for ya if you want to come back. :2vrolijk_21:

On the Island we stretch it well into Oct...maybe a bit of Nov. The first year I lived here it was a novelty to ride all year...but rain and only a few * above freezing is not as fun as it sounds. I do get out on the bike on the odd nice day in the off season though, a time or 2 a month.

If your going to Quartzsite, the Quartzsite Yacht Club is a good place to hang out...good food, bar, entertainment, and motel (converted trailers). If you become a member you will have yacht club privileges all over the world  :P  and only cost $25.00 for a laminated id card, embroidered hat, t-shirt, penant, and certificate.
