H.D. Handlebar mount for 660
« on: January 13, 2011, 08:09:31 PM »

Has anyone installed the chrome handlebar mount for the 660 and ran the cable inside the handlebar?  It looks  like I would have to cut and splice to fit it in the handlebar.

Not much room in handlebar given all the other stuff already in there.

You would definitely have to cut and splice.  There's no way that combination plug is going inside those bars.

Good luck!

I think going on the outside of the bars might be the way to go.  I'll look into it more when I get ready to tackle the project.  I'll try to take a peek inside the bars for room to fish the cable.  Plenty of time yet, since were're in MI. and it's Jan.
