Had my heart set on the Krypto - got bumped to the orange / black - hell I'm just happy to have a CVO SG - I had heard it over here also from my dealer that the Krypto run could be cancelled. Sorry to you all who have been waiting patiently for so long - The least the MoCo could do is fess up their plans & get rid of the uncertainty.

Talked with the folks at Conrad's HD in Joliet, Ill late last week. They are expecting their in Feb. Said they had just checked on it for the owner who's going to keep it for a while as a demo.

just got a shipment of bikes yesterday, the driver told me the Krypo's are crated and in the warehouse. delivery is on hold

This makes no sense to me at all.

Why is there such a problem with the Krypto's?

Has anyone received a definitive answer?

I feel for all who have been waiting so long for this beautiful looking bike.

I was hoping to see one in person, but maybe not???  :nixweiss:

Most likely it is just somebody spreading a bad rumour to increase the hype.

I really don't believe it now.  My dealer just called and he has one coming in March, confirmed Kyrptonite Green.  Let the Madness begin!   :cucumber:

 Sat Jan 15  I saw the paperwork showing a  Feb 11 ship date for a Krypto from the factory to my dealer in Brandon Fl (Tampa).  It looked legit! I have been waiting since Oct. riding my 10 SG very sparingly so as not to run up the miles. I hope its just a vicous rumor, I have everything crossed and then some LOL.

Guys, this is all someone just making something up.  I sat on 2 Kryptos at the July dealer show.  Told my dealer that day that I would take the 1 that he had consigned to him out of 16 CVO's that he had consigned from the MoCo.  My delivery date is Feb. 7th (original date was Sept. 17th) They are coming.......

With people having sat on one and with the Kryptos already crated and in the warehouse waiting to be shipped, I guess it's just a rumor then. 

I still have a few questions though...why would shipment be on hold? 

And what problem with the paint (with all the modern coating technologies) could have delayed production so long?  They've been doing black since forever so it can't be that. 

If the Krypto was going to be a mid-year release, why didn't they say so? 

I can't wait to see one in person...I hope they meet all the hype!

 Isn't the Mid Year Dealer Show in Orlando around the ned of this month...maybe they are keying up the Krypto release and any other "exciting" news to be announced together.
